What to Expect After Starting
This guide explains what a normal day of trading looks like, so you know the system is working correctly.
After You Click "Start Engine"
- Status badge turns orange → "STARTING"
- Within seconds, it turns green → "CONNECTED" (with a breathing pulse)
- AI status shows "Scanning..." then cycles through states every 15 minutes
How Often Does the Strategy Act?
- The selected strategy evaluates its logic when new market data becomes available for its configured timeframe.
- Most evaluations can result in HOLD when entry conditions are not met.
- It is normal to go hours without a trade.
- Quiet market conditions or active filters can result in no trades.
When No Trade Is Expected

If you see "New Bar Detected" lines appearing every 15 minutes, the system is working.
What to Monitor
- Dashboard: Green "CONNECTED" badge = healthy
- Logs: Regular "New Bar Detected" messages = engine is running
- News Countdown: Shows time to next major news event
- Risk Monitor: Watch the risk level (Safe / Warning / Critical)
