Alpha Quant Pro Feature Manual
This manual covers the core features of Alpha Quant Pro to help you get up and running quickly.
1. Strategy Automation
Alpha Quant Pro can operate supported strategy workflows through AQP Bundles. Select a Bundle and start the engine; Alpha Quant Pro handles the operating workflow, risk checks, monitoring, and supported execution connectivity.
1.1 AQP Bundles
Each AQP Bundle contains a Strategy implementation for one or more supported instruments/timeframes and returns trading intent to the Alpha Quant Pro Runtime. Local Bundles are user-managed; official paid Bundles are synchronized through the authenticated Bundle control plane.
1.2 Automatic Filters
Before executing any order, the system automatically checks:
- Spread Filter: Pauses trading when the spread is too high, avoiding costly entries.
- News Filter: Automatically pauses around major economic data releases (e.g., NFP, CPI).
- Time Filter: Optionally set periods to avoid trading (e.g., low-volatility Asian session).
2. Triple-Shield Risk Controls
Built-in risk controls help manage trading exposure and operating limits.
2.1 Capital Protection
- Max Daily Loss: When daily losses reach the set limit (e.g., $500), all positions are closed and trading stops for the day.
- Equity Guard: If equity drops below the set threshold (e.g., $9,500), all positions are closed and the account is locked.
2.2 Trade Risk Management
- Dynamic Lot Sizing: Automatically calculates lot size based on account balance and risk percentage.
- Stop Loss / Take Profit: Every order is automatically placed with SL and TP.
- Trailing SL / Breakeven: Once a trade reaches a certain profit level, the stop-loss automatically follows the price or moves to entry to lock in gains.
- Partial Close: Automatically close portions of the position at designated targets.
3. PWA Web Dashboard (Remote Control)
Monitor trading status in real time from your phone or tablet.
3.1 Local Network Access
On the same Wi-Fi, access the Web Dashboard directly via your PC's local IP. The browser traffic stays on the local network; Alpha Quant Pro still requires an authenticated online account for its normal account and entitlement lifecycle.
3.2 Public Internet Access
Secure remote access is available to active Pro or Max accounts and uses the same Web Dashboard password. Standard includes local Web Dashboard access only.
4. Telegram Notifications
Receive real-time trade updates:
- Entry / Exit Alerts: Instant notification after every trade execution.
- Stop Loss Triggered: Immediate alert when a stop-loss is hit.
- Risk Alerts: Notification when daily max loss or equity guard thresholds are reached.
- System Status: Engine start, stop, and error notifications.
5. Economic Calendar
Built-in economic calendar that automatically tracks high-impact news events (e.g., NFP, CPI). Trading is automatically paused before and after releases to avoid slippage.
6. Account & License Management
Manage your software access from the dashboard:
Key Features
- Access Status: View your Standard/Pro/Max account access, paid period, and renewal state.
- Device Binding: Manage the computer currently authorized for your license.
- Download Access: Get the latest desktop installer from the dashboard.
- Support Access: Contact support for setup, billing, and license questions.
